National Wear Red Day. Alpha Kappa Alpha maintains a
national partnership with the American Heart
Association, and February is National Heart Month. In
particular we recognize National Wear Red Day to show
our support of the fight against women’s heart disease.
On February 3, wear your
RED
to help support the cause.
Want to do more? Tell 5 friends. Go to
Go Red For Women and input the
email address of 5 women you care about. They will
receive a message about how to fight heart disease,
along with a free Go Red Heart Health Kit. Want to
do even more? Contact your local, state, and federal
lawmakers to address the issue of heart disease and
other forms of cardiovascular disease. For more
