The 2010 - 2011 Debutante Cotillion and Scholarship Program

Program is the premier coming of age experience for young ladies in the Charlotte metropolitan area. Our goal is to have every debutante emerge as the epitome of womanly pulchritude armed with some of life’s most essential qualities-high standards, strong character, humility and positive self-esteem. From August 2010 through March 2011, 25 participants engage in a seven month program that offers an array of workshops, leadership and etiquette training, community service opportunities, educational activities and cultural excursions. The debutante season is designed to empower and enrich the lives of each participant so that she will become a productive member of the African American community and society at large.
